The B.Sc in Cardio Pulmonary & Perfusion Technology program prepares students to work as skilled technologists in cardiac surgery units, intensive care units, and emergency departments. The curriculum covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, cardiac and pulmonary diseases, surgical procedures, hemodynamics, and perfusion techniques. Students learn to operate heart-lung machines, ECMO devices, and other life-support systems under the supervision of cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists. The program also includes clinical training to ensure hands-on experience in managing cardiopulmonary bypass procedures, monitoring blood circulation, and maintaining vital functions during complex surgeries.
