MSW

Master of Social Work (MSW) is a 2-year postgraduate degree that prepares students to become skilled social work professionals. The course emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical fieldwork in areas such as mental health, community development, child welfare, medical and psychiatric social work, labor welfare, and social justice.

Students gain training in counseling techniques, casework, group work, research methodology, and policy analysis. MSW graduates work in NGOs, hospitals, schools, government welfare departments, rehabilitation centers, and international development organizations, often addressing pressing social issues like poverty, addiction, gender inequality, and disability.
