Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a 2-year entry-level program designed to provide foundational knowledge in pharmaceutical science. The course includes subjects such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy. It focuses on the basics of drug formulation, dosage, dispensing, and legal regulations in pharmacy practice. After completing D.Pharm and registering with the pharmacy council, graduates can work as pharmacists in hospitals, community pharmacies, and drug stores, or choose to continue higher education with B.Pharm (lateral entry into 2nd year).
