Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a comprehensive four-and-a-half-year undergraduate program (including 6 months of compulsory internship) designed to educate students on the science of physical movement and the application of therapeutic exercises and techniques for rehabilitation. The course focuses on the prevention, assessment, and treatment of physical impairments, disabilities, and pain arising from injury, illness, or chronic conditions.
The curriculum includes subjects such as human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. Students also gain practical training through clinical postings and internships in hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
